Technology Value Fund (TVFQX) Update: As of 4/30/98 ADPT was the 3rd largest holding with 760,000 shares. This is up 20,000 from 3/31/98, and represents 7.3% of the total portfolio.

Whether Mr. Landis sold following the earnings miss and subsequent slide (slaughter) is impossible to determine. However, I have a strong suspicion that TVFQX is still a major shareholder.

Has anyone had any luck getting through to IR. I've left several messages for Rachel and IR. They suck! I called ASND IR when its stock was getting hammered @ < $25, and Bernie Schneider(Treasurer)returned my call. That's shareholder service!

The only contact I did make was with Paul Hansen's (CFO's) assistant about two weeks ago, and she point blank told me that ADPT expected to meet 1st Call estimates of .20 for the Q. I'm comfortable that a warning is unlikely.

Have a good weekend,

Larry
