Sam, I am just stating my opinions about when life begins. There are several different theories on this, and you are welcome to disagree with me. All feelings about the sanctity of life, and abortion, are very personal, obviously.

I am not quite sure what you are meaning when you say "only when the breath of life occurs after birth does the baby become a living soul". Are you saying that the soul enters the body at that point? My own personal feeling is that the soul is created at the moment of creation. Mothers who are mourning their miscarried or stillborn babies are very definitely mourning a being with a soul. Maybe this is something where men and women might tend to see it slightly differently. On the other hand, maybe not.

Talking about the soul is even more complex than the abortion issue!!
