You are right on. In 1888 there was a 6.6 quake in Charleston SC that killed 110 folk. The local news here in Charlotte is now digging up all the earthquake info they can have their interns find in the library and on the internet.

Oh, when I mentioned Savannah Ga nuclear plant... I meant to say that a fault line goes right through the Savannah River nuclear facility.

What a shame.

I used to visit South Carolina on college recruiting trips and really liked it.

It seems, however, to have more than its fair share of "mother nature" related problems.
