CB= C. Brewer. According to each bottle of nuts, Mauna Loa is already a "division of C. Brewer." The fact that C. Brewer Homes is merging into Mauna Loa is not an unexpected event. Considering down side and up side potentials, I think the sky is the limit, whereas a company this solid, in the 3 dollar range looks like a bottom to me.

Heck, I know companies that sell for far more than 3 bucks that are a long way from ever seeing earnings...and are based on a dream.

This merger did not go through. News 6/26/98

I decided not to bite on NUT but still watching it.
Mauna Loa Resources, the managing general partner for Mauna Loa Macadamia Partners (NUT:NYSE), said the partnership is canceling its plans tomerge with C. Brewer Homes (CBHI:Nasdaq). Mauna Loa said the proposal failed to secure a majority of the 7.5 million outstanding units required by the agreement.
