Agree, SEEK chart looking WEAK -g-

8 million share day bought the dip on 5/27.

Since then descending triangle with bottoms at 22.5 with volume drying up. Friday was one of the lowest SEEK volume days since the internet bubble started.

Those 8 million shares that bought the dip are getting impatient and are now seeing that the momentum is starting to wane and will want to get out fast if it breaks below 22.

Michael,

Even the remaining believers in the "portal" concept aren't buying SEEK, as it is about "fourth in class."

I'll ask you once again, if SEEK is "fourth in class", who do you consider to be #1, #2, and #3 and what criteria do you use? And how did you determine that SEEK is 4th?

You didn't respond to me the last time I asked, maybe this time you will. Thanks.

<<I am long on SEEK....we will see $40's again this fall. The time to buy stocks is
when they are 60+% off their 52wk highs!>>

WRONG!!

The time to buy an overvalued stock is NOT when when momentum players are
fleeing and the stock is breaking down technically.

micheal,

How am I wrong? I do not see a "breakdown" . If smart money was fleeing the stock you would be seeing much higher volume and we we would already be looking at $15. Infoseek is not overvalued IMO and I feel it's earnings growth potential are great. I am very comfortable with my position in SEEK, should consolidation in the sector continue as I feel it will Infoseek is well positioned to be a leader.
