Bruce.. I want to THANK YOU for the extremely informative and comprehensive replies to my cries for 'HELLLP'. I DO realize it took you a fair amount of time to compile those posts. They ARE helpful and exactly what I was looking for. I have printed them out and will be studying them over the next few days. I may have a question or two after studying your posts, I hope you won't mind. I realize of course that it is your opinion, but the opinion of such a knowledgeable person as yourself has great value. Hi Bruce...I enjoyed your analysis of s/w. Seems like a lot of us have been thru the same process of looking under a lot of rocks for the holy grail. So far I haven't founn one. I have settled on AIQ after beginning with Telescan then a short time with dos v. metastock next a period with candlepower. I occ feel the urge to get Trade station because a lot of strategy modules are writing for it by the famous traders: Conners, Ratshke, Cooper etc and almost nothing for aiq...I have to fund module on aig but found the dial data to full of holes also so I lot the feel for fundamental data couple month ago...Telescan had to many errors and local hub problems. I also have found AAII's stock investor a good screening program and use it to look at several groups of stocks based on O Shaunesseys Book. My next project is see if I can get the EDS module to function. Havent fooled around with macros since I gave up metastock and cant say that I ever really understood it use or enjoyed it much. My groups look weak inspite of the 4 98-2 ers in a row...I have never seen that many since begining to aiq in summer or 94...I believe Les said that David V. has turned bullish...I may have to take a longer look at things from a st trading standpoint..The asian crises worries me long term...there seem to be no end insite. I watch the Asia today on cnbc m-f after recording it at 4am..since aug 97 it has been like water torture...just a continuous drop...drop...drop...It would be nice to have another move like jan thru apr 98 again..
