Don't worry Matty, Pugs is going to change the way the market works all by himself.....just ask him. Problem is, this is not a bad system and the problems with it are the lack of regulation on companies and those that work in conjuction with them in hyping stocks with no fundamental basis. The SEC is taking some action on this in requiring tighter reporting requirements on BB stocks and requiring 2-11 filings on those that have been halted for various reasons. Pugs and Riley often complain about how long it takes for a trade they have ordered to be confirmed. Without the MM system (which includes short selling to make the market) on BB stocks, you can be sure that it would take a lot longer......this alternative system is called the "Pink Sheets." The idea that MM's totally manipulate the market is just BS to hide the basic market principle of supply and demand and explain away why a stock that they are hyping isn't going anywhere. Enuf said. TC
