Ali - Re: " What a BS! The open market price for 233MMX has dropped below $134 "

Once again you provide us all with another example of your complete failure to understand volume pricing.

RE-READ my post, Ali.

The pricing stated was for 1000 unit orders!

Many, many customers of Intel buy in quantities FAR IN EXCESS of 1000 pieces! Those customers get prices BELOW the relatively SMALL 1000 unit piece price lists.

A simple example - Compaq probably purchases 2.7 million CPUS/quarter from Intel. DELL probably buys 1.5 or 1.6 million CPUs/quarter from Intel.

Do you think they pay the 1000 piece price when they order in these "train-load" quantities?

You have been wrapped up in AMD for too long.

You need to think BIG.

Think Intel!
