Thanks Don I appreciate that. NorthEastern Plastic have 2 locations 420 Calloll St Brooklyn NY 11215-1085 718-855-1446 and 315 Poplar Scranton, PA 18509-2731 717-961-1737 Now this co. manufactures nomex home wiring, wiring for electrical appliances, battery cables, coaxiel cable, those spools of wire u see at home improvement stores like Home Depot, and basically anything that has electricity running thru it they make it and sell it. Now I found out that this little segment of this industry is a billion dollar a year industry in the US alone. N.E.P was profitable here in the US, but in 1997 they did something that almost double their business, they started exporting. Between Aug. 10-13, they attended the 52nd annual National Hardware Show at the McCormick Place complex in Chicago Il. They set up a booth in the Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC. This was a huge convention with buyers from all over the world attending. Tim Allen from home improvement and JoAnne Liebler from Home Savy were just a couple of guest stars to this show. Well, this turned out to be a good move on N.E.P parts, because they picked up buyers, and sellers from Canada, Mexico and Europe. Out of all the EDII's Holdings I would have to say N.E.P will be the biggest money maker for EDII with revenues exceeding 20 million a year and being very profitable So lets summarize EDII's holdings and soon to be holdings: Pitts & Spitts(very profitable, and expanding their manufacturing abillity to keep up with demand). Har-Whit(that makes welded material for oil & Gas company's and this co. uses the same plant as Pitt & Spitts so they can ride piggyback on P & S and make these oil & gas products with no overhead, or share costs with them either way it makes it very profitable for both co's). Texas Real Estate Enterprise and Brenham oil & Gas are both in negoiations over some 300 acres EDII owns in Galveston Bay with several co's. I think that whatever the deal is I believe Brenham Oil & gas will be included in the deal in some capacity. Cinema Research corp. is for real, with 7 different area's in the movie Industry and is well respected in Hollywood, being labeled as the #2 company in what they do in Hollywood. INTILE DESIGNS 13 locations, with no serious competition(because they bought out their major competitor, took their inventory then closed them down, I'm talking about International Tile & Supply) and are reporting revenues of over $13,000,000.00 for the year ending march 31 1998. They also trade on the nasdaq bb with a new share price of .468, if we go with this figure and EDII's last close we are saying that all the other co's EDII own are only worth 13 cents? Lets get real here MM's. This also put's EDII in partners with RENN a $55,000.000.00 holding co. that trades on the big board at $9.00 share. And last a merger with NorthEastern Plastics, that combined with rest of EDII's holdings will qualify EDII tto go to the big boards. Now lastly on their june 3rd 1998 business wire, when they reported they were to become a fully Reporting Company, basically they are telling us that all these aquisitions are a done deal(but there will be a pr newsletter announcing when the deals are done, and all the i's are dotted and t's crossed). But what get's me really exitted is there anouncement "The company will announce shortly the change of its name, in order to more accurately reflect the diversity of its holdings and aquisitions". do u think that maybe their name will change to RENAISSANCE CAPITAL GROWTH & INCOME FUND III, INC. (check my last post for that ideal). Well thats it for now gang, on monday I should be able to post the info on the movies Cinema Research Corp were involved in. Have a good sunday.
