David:

CADE

That was an advisory posted as part of the subscription based advisories in MS investor, unfortunately I cant link you to that particular spot, the drop of 10% is a quarterly figure versus last years figures, yes debt to equity has dropped 10% which is good, that advisory also appeared as well as this one which might solve the riddle:

On 6/5/98: Analysis of the latest financial results for CADE showed that, compared with the year-earlier period, its receivables increased by at least 20% more than its sales.

It's quite possible that the company has not yet recieved payment from customers which could have caused the drop in gross profits, it could be something else though and with the way the market is acting up a drop in profit could mean bad news for price per share even if it is just a matter of collecting outstanding bills, thats why I chose to post that particular news byte and drop my average for CADE....

David in breaking out CADE's cost of goods vs. revenues they increased ever so slightly from 1996 to 1997. So far 1998 has been better than either 96 or 97's numbers.

1996 showed 76.59% while 1997 showed 77.91 and increase of 1.32%. However in the first quarter of 1998 the percentage was 75.92% a decrease of 2% from 1997's numbers.

PS can you tell I bought CADE today? :>)
