Gregg - while I agree with most of what you said regarding Wall Street's so-called analysts, I want to add something. The rare analyst who actually "has a clue" would most probably go off and form a venture capital firm, and then, using their positive value added analytical abilities, become extremely successful. (Which is, of course, exactly what Benjamin Rosen (now affiliated with Sevin Rosen Management, formerly an analyst at (I think) Morgan Stanley) did. Jon.
