Price gouging to be exposed by DELL.Looks like he did. Hey PAL I don't know you and others recall what Michael Dell said in an interview a while back which I posted here on the thread. He said and I paraphrase,and he said- Dell is going to expose price gouging by competitors as he thought that was exactly these guys were doing particularly in the high end enterprise segment of the business. So it looks like Michael Dell has succeeded in exposing these guys and their price gouging and naturally they would have to cut their prices.

PAL Hi!!! <<<Compaq cuts prices....>>> Heck, this doesn't surprise me...Michael released an announcement quite sometime ago describing to us how Dell was going to expose the server ripoffs of other companies...IMO if CPQ and others don't drop their prices Dell will put them out of business..and since Dell can produce products with much less inventory and cost...sooner or later everyone will be finding out...You can't afford not to do business with Dell... I stopped home this morning after my first teaching block (my dad drove up from Phila) and caught about three minutes of CNBC...Burnahm representative was on and Dell was the question asked...He replied that Dell basically has everyone on the ground and is kicking their face in...well, not in those exact words...but, it was interesting to hear someone be honest as to why the others are having problems....
