Look I dont wish that anybody losses money. Fundimental strategy count for somthing. Remember there are always shareholders holding the bag when companies go bankrupt. in 1981 ford was a buy at 8, im sure people were buying in teens. They almost went bankrupt. If they had neither would have been a good deal. I have some shares of Pan AM, you want? You are not talking about a company (like many in Asia once 50 times higher) that are trading below book value at stupid low PE. This company is trading on expectations it will grow 30-40% in the next 18 months. this simply wont happen. If it doesnt, this stock will inevitable have more sellers then buyers. Do any math you want, you must look deeper then charts, history, reputation to see the disease here is near terminal. even if the patient recovers it will be a long slow recovery. how many MM who owned at 80 are going to buy in again, or trust this MGMT Team. if MGMT was changed is the only thing that may change my mind. If you want bargains in chips buy VLSI they are trading 1.4 times book(thats book value!). They are in new profitable chip areas(DVIX and ASICS) If you want Wireless play try QCOM they are selling at less then 20 times trailing earnings and are at center of the future of PCS (CDMA). They are growing at 30-40% even with ASIAN
mess. They have serious exposure there. However dont go around saying this stock is cheap, Its camparitivly cheap. I would rather buy lucent at 200PE then MOT at 30-40.
