John,

Assuming doctors work a 5 day week (I know some work on Saturdays but most of the scripts are written out Monday thru Friday) we have a daily increase of 12.5%.

Week ending May 22: 5,370/5 = 1,074 total daily scripts

Week ending May 29: 4,834/4 = 1,209 total daily scripts

1,209-1,074 = 135

135/1,074 = .1256983

Again, on a daily bases we saw a 12.5% increase in script numbers.

John,

Last YEAR the script numbers were off 21% due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
Next week we should witness a true reversal of the falling script numbers.

Thanks for posting script data for Muse. Other than with a subscription to IMS-America, how can the script data be obtained weekly in a timely fashion? Anyone care to list potential sources or url's for this data?

Live Long & Prosper,

Regarding script data of roughly 5000 scripts. Why does Leland say that Pfizer has taken 2/3 of the sales? These 5000 scripts only represent US sales. Last year at this time we had 18K scripts. Does this mean we only have 1K overseas?
