Nope. If you had bought 3 weeks ago or even last month or April, you would be sitting on a small (or large depending upon your bet) loss.

Not sure about this, but it seems most big money players prefer dividend paying paper backed by a strong currency to hard assets, at least in the past 4 or 5 years.

Techie, yes, but you clearly stated that Mr. Dell's sales were indicative of his lack of confidence in the growth of the stock price in the near and longer term. Did you not say that?
