>Where do they get the 88 cent profit in 2001

Same place they get that a 51 p/e against speculative earnings 2 1/2 years out somehow translates into a buying opportunity(!) today.

Forget what the analysts' dream numbers are or your moving price averages. Focus on the fact that this thing is a risky, lousy stock(might be a good company- but that's a different story, right?):
Big, big downside; upside all used up for the next 3-5 years - even if all the dreams turn out.
How could anyone sleep at night holding Exhibit "A" of the evidence that "new era thinking" is an oxymoron.

Mr. Benjamin raised his 2001 EPS
estimate to $1.75 with a new price target of $88.

I guess it's all up to how these analyst read the picture.
