Re: I dont believe Intel cut off the supply of the chips to the customers.

I have no doubt that Intel DID cut off their supply--after all, this is the paranoid, take-no-prisoners culture that Andy Grove perfected. But, I don't see why there anything wrong with it. If one of my customers is stupid enough to sue me, I don't know why I should be forced to continue selling my product to them, let alone treat them as a valued customer. And why this should be of concern to the FTC is beyond me altogether. Perhaps we should consider the fact that the FTC and the DOJ are competing antitrust agencies, and with DOJ stealing all the limelight with its actions against MSFT, Lockheed-Northrup, and Primestar, the FTC feels a little left out. Never underestimate the vindictiveness of a government bureaucrat scorned.
