JMS,

You're obviously a GDT fan so I wonder why you bother posting here? Maybe you are short AVEI?

This is hardly the first time a small company with a single major product focus has had it's stock smashed. It's become a big sport for short specialists to behave this way. But it doesn't take anything away from the company fundamentals. When it comes to squeezing margins the small companies definitely have the upper hand. These guys know that their future lives and dies on competing in this market. How much more motivation does it take? If they have half a brain they will find ways to compete. It looks to me like the stent market is big enough for many players of all classes and AVEI has managed to establish a foothold. The stock is way undervalued at this point.

So you didn't give us much insight to go on but from your statement I guess I should be worried because there is competition in the stent market? Give me a break. Do you seriously think that we don't know this already?

More likely, the next 3-6 months look very good. And AVEI's relatively low market cap, and significant market share make them a good takeover candidate. And you can take that to the bank. I expect to.
