Darren, I don't recall who discussed it some time ago, but can you clarify the scenario where the MM's will actually push down the prices (at a loss) in order to accumulate much larger blocks out of sight?

Since the index funds have to take a position and the shorts might be getting nervous, I can't imagine they'll just walk up to the counter and plunk down immense $$ under public scrutiny. How do very large blocks get purchased without significantly influencing the price?

Darren:

I'm just learning these terms. Exactly what is an "open short"?

It's funny to read those lines talking about ASND hit 50 today or not today. As a long term investor since I bought my first share at 45 then 40, 35, 24 and ride all the up till now (still holding). It does not matter it will hit 50 today or tomorrow or this friday but one thing I feel very confident that it will hit 60 sometime this year ( by the way that give me 100% on my investment) I think I can wait :-)
