It was not an OEM but Ancor did have some kind of agreement with IBM to provide switches for the RS/6000. Ancor has stated IBM as a customer for some time.

Taking a trip down memory lane, I spoke with an IBM sales rep last year and got some info on the IBM (Ancor) FC switch. (Of course, no significant sales were generated).

While it's clear IBM and Ancor have worked together in the past and the present (IBM/GS) I don't believe you can assume this will continue into the future... hoping.
