John: RE: Intel said only that it would "honor it's contracts" I was under the impression that with the Digital suit, Intel would honor its contract to supply DEC with chips until the end of the 3Q. During the 4Q and beyond, Intel had no contract to supply DEC with chips and, therefore, would not supply DEC with chips. Digital then responded that there is a long standing contract, or understanding, that Intel would supply chips. A little later, DEC and Intel settled. dave
