thanks for the responses. Added lastdrive and the /L switch. That did the trick!!

Howard, when I did a dir on the drives d-l, the appropriate files and folders were listed. Nothing on M though, until I added the above mentioned switch.

Now....should I really go for a clean install? I've been using current win95 on computer for about 4 years. I think the registry is really bloated.
