SyQuest SPARQ quality problems?

Not to put a damper on things, but does anyone have any opinion on all the messages on the alt.syquest newsgroup lately? There are lots of user's complaining about drives failing and having to ship them back to SyQuest. More than one person even claimed to be waiting on their 3rd drive!

I haven't seen much talk on this SI thread about quality and number of returned drives.

There was one complaint on there about someone's Iomega drive failing also. Anyone have any idea how the quality compares and how many returns each company is taking back?

I've only had experience with a single SyQuest drive, and so far it has been a good experience.
