He says he does not own it.....anyway, like i said i post my objections with iom directly with them and the reseller side. What have they done wrong....let me see....splitting the stock, not concentrating on the reseller channel as much, which by the way Sherk said today on cnbc that they are putting more effort on the channel side, meaning dealers and distributors, more bundels (like the starter kit), not getting the single atapi drive out faster instead of the 5pks., better ads,.....is that enough....nothing new that has not already been posted....but how much of the positive stuff is being posted.....not much except for a few of us.... for a person ready to jump back in and seeing the cpq news and still is negative, then i have wonder which side he is on.....are we all clear? back to normal?

When s.bateh posted numbers, his posts were valuable.

Now that he posts adjectives, the value of his posts carry similar value as rocky's.

You all are getting gross margins, and net margins confused.

s.bateh is talking about gross margins.
JD is talking about netmargins.

With the heavy overhead, and the crappy unit volume that s.bateh had reported from ingram, this quarter is a net money loser.

what we need to hear from j.sierk is that he is TRIMMING overhead costs, so the required unit volume sold for break even is lower.

Unless someone can substantiate that variable costs for zip has decreased substantially, and gross margin will increase from Q1, all this talk is hooey.

Take a poll...how many people are going to buy a Presario in the next 12 weeks? I know I'm buying a Dell, yes, with a zip.

However the street wants to credit this, the fact of the matter
is that that Zip is being established as the drive to replace
the 1.44 floppy. This news is Big Time IMO.

Congrats to IOM, They said getting into the boxes is job 1
