Thomas, I certainly don't know for sure, but I would not count on the WDC announcement tanking the tech sector tommorrow. The disk drive companies have been in trouble for some time now and this is well known on Wall Street. I have also been reading about some upgrades lately, particularly on Seagate, the comment being that Seagate's high end business has been looking a bit stronger...

Most people look for NT5 in summer of 99. current 'official' date is 1st half of 99.

mid 99 is the optomistic guess. I believe this creates an intersting window of opportunity for the folks in provo/san diego
