Great, thanks! I did look for the information on the website but couldn't find any information relating to proxy. Perhaps if there was a way to search the site ... just an idea ;-)

Yes, well, tried it. It doesn't work.

The server *is* Socks 5 compliant, and it works fine with other stuff.

The "Data manager" says "Client data manager is unable to connect to server data manager". It does not appear from the socks logfile that Stockedge even attempts to connect. And frankly your "FAQ" is a bit scarse on information. Normally, in a "socks aware" client you have somewhere you can set "use proxy"...

Well, I contacted DBC support for the supposedly Socks 5 compliance of SE Online ... and they gave up. Not good!
