I talked with Bay Inv. Relations today. The official word is that they believe they are still on track for the quarter(+10% sequential volume growth), although they still need June to come in. The month is somewhat backloaded, but not to the extent of last quarter. Accelar sales are going well, with evaluation units converting to real sales. North America is recovering perhaps alittle better than the overall market. The Street consensus for
sales this quarter is somewhere in the $596MM range, which Bay is still comfortable with. No pre-earnings announcements(pro or con) are anticipated at this time(quiet period starts next Monday).

Naturally, she could not address all this merger rumor stuff. Like last quarter, we have to hope that business doesn't slide into the next quarter. Still, it does look like Bay may be back on track with decent growth for the quarter. Time will tell.
