Add me to the list of sellers of BAY at current levels. Don't get me wrong, I love BAY as a company but when you compare its share price with that of COMS and CS, I see the other two as much stronger buys at current levels. Hope to be back in before BAY is eventually taken over (I suspect it will be LU in Oct).

G'day, Paul & all - Dear Paul, thanks for a meaningful post. It is good to see something more solid. While I am concerned about Hop's optimistic #s, for the very fact of setting up some unrealistic expectations, I am hopeful BAY will try the turn things around in this and next Qs.

Btw, I find the latest Gottis Pittsburg's bit quite amusing. If memory serves, last summer I have voiced concerns that too many houses and their mother-in-laws have raised BAY ratings - and indeed she has hit the near term top. Now, with so many houses and their mother-in-laws, including those me-toos, have lowered BAY ratings, I am hopeful that she is hitting the near term bottom. However, I do support those in this thread who feel GP is the king of anal-ists: sell thy shares <vbg>! Better, go ahead, short BAY <G>. Otherwise, dear Victor may not be able to get back in at $24 <VBG>

your truly in good jest

Best, Bosco

The Accelar sales are going quite well. I even have one to install up in Charlotte this weekend.

Mid-level managers at Cisco & Bay options...

Skeptics suspect the takeover talk is wishful thinking by
Bay shareholders. But, there are industry veterans betting
on a deal -- including, one analyst says, employees at Cisco
itself. Some mid-level managers at Cisco told him that they
have bought call options on Bay, which would rise in case of
a deal.

From a WSJ article

btw, Hi to all Mid-level managers at Cisco!
