JM - QUIZZ TIME 1. How many world class telecom companies have developed in the whole of the 350million population EU in the last ten years other than previous government monopolies? 2. How many major telcos have developed in the last ten years that were not previously government monopolies? 3. How many world class internet companies have developed in the EU over the last five years? If the total of the answers above is less than 1 which I believe it is then please tell me how a bunch of EU regulators with no local corporate or for that matter material commercial experience on the subject of world class emergent telcos and internet operations can possibly add anything except hot air to the debate? These guys are incapable of creating entities for the new world of comms and if they interfere they will only hinder the progress of civilisation. Regards, L
