Brazil - Scotland: 2 - 1

A weird game. Brazil was "lucky" to score from a corner Kick after 3 minutes. IMHO this was not good for Brazil since they seemed to lay back a little giving Scotland room to come forward. Then what a horrible mistake by the Brazilian Ampaio(sp?), the scorer,to push the Scottish player down for a penalty. Of course Brazil turned it on in the second half and scored again on an "own goal"!!!So the Scots gave up two goals in a totally uncharacteristic way. So Brazil gets lucky in the first game. The talent is sure there but in order to go far they must pick it up and I believe (and hope) that they will. Ronaldo, that new guy subsitute Denilsen, Bebeto, Cafu, Dunga, R. Carlos were just great. Defense is still shaky. Uncharacteristically again, Tafarel played well. But, if you know the history of Brazilian goalkeepers, he is not too far away from the BIG mistake.

Scotland: The Scots are a very sympathetic team. They ALWAYS play hard. I liked the way they responded after they went down 1-0. I am sure it is not a stretch to say that maybe they deserved a tie. They may give Norway fits.

Getting ready for Norway - Morocco. I am for Morocco!

I love this game!
