dougin: I am in agreement with ur posts.

I have lot of confidence in Bernie and his group in making this deal happen without losing UUNET. It appears the deal is close to satisfy EU/DOJ. It could happen in the next few days.. As a long time investor in this stock/leaps i would like to see the deal happens as otherwise the stakes are very high to the investors and the companies.

dougin and all: Breaking News from CNBC - Cable & Wireless is suing MCI

I heard a CNBC report by Joe Kernan that C&W filed a suit against MCI to honor the earlier agreement between MCI and C&W:
MCI to sell the MCI backbone internet assets to C&W subject to the condition that the WCOM/MCI merger happens.
This is seen as a preemptive strike aginst MCI not to get into any other another arrangement to satisfy the EU regulators.
