I guess that would just about kill the daytraders... Also would make most people do a little more DD before laying their money on the line.. ...and the mailman won't deliver in Chicago....

I'm very much in disagreement with this proposal. I see it as an end run around the real problem which is adequate control and supervision of market making activities. It's a nice head fake. I wonder where we learned that term? This proposal presents two problems which concern me greatly. First, it will have a sever dampening effect on the ability of small companies to raise money and Secondly, it will do so because it denies an investor the ability to react to changing fundamentals eather corporate or in the marketplace. The only people who could like this one are the politicians, the SEC, and NASDAQ; it's a great face saver. This needs a lot of consideration before endorsing it. Fred
