Version 4.0 users:

I am hoping one of you can answer this for me. I was quite adept at setting up scans in DOS ver 3.0 with no problem. I have now set up a scan in Ver 4.0 called "AT 52 WEEK HIGH" by going to scan setup module in ver 4.0 and setting "PRICE as % of 52 WEEK HIGH" and I set the "value" at 99 to max in the box to the right. Then I do a count summary and then scan the charts. The problem is that once TC2000 scans the charts in the system it gives me the chart list with many stocks more than 1-2% off their highs. Furthermore, some stocks at new highs do not even appear in the newly scanned chart list. If you want to try this scan, set it up as I outlined above, and then for instance, look at AMES DEPARTMENT STORES on the list and tell me how this price as of the close on Friday, 6/12 is within 98-99% of the 52 week high.

I would be grateful to anyone who would run this simple one variable scan to check out what I am finding to be inaccurate. I have called Worden Bros. and they are not aware of the problem. Nor could they suggest a fix. Nice.

Thanks to all who respond!
