Well before I speculate...here is this press, which puts IBM, VISA and American Express all in the same boat with a stick of dynamite....Only thing missing is the CheckFree Tuna...

biz.yahoo.com

The SET specification was originally developed by Visa International and MasterCard International in February 1996 with participation from leading technology companies around the world. SET Secure Electronic Transaction LLC (commonly referred to as SETCo) was established by Visa and MasterCard in December 1997 as a legal entity to manage and promote the global adoption of SET. American Express Company [NYSE:AXP - news] and JCB Company Ltd are joining as charter members of SETCo and will become co-owners of the entity to further enhance the worldwide acceptance of SET as the global standard for secure payments over the Internet.

Ok then wish #1...a CheckFree Alliance with SETCO.

From that IBM press....

SET Secure Electronic Transaction LLC (commonly referred to as SETCo) was established by Visa and MasterCard in December 1997 as a legal entity to manage and promote the global adoption of SET. American Express Company [NYSE:AXP - news] and JCB Company Ltd are joining as charter members of SETCo and will become co-owners

Reasons...

1) Integrion and CheckFree are Partners

2) Then OFX and Gold are to Merge to one standard.

3) Integrion hooks up Visa and CheckFree...thereby getting SET and OFX/GOLD to talk to and work with eachother seamlessly.

4) The next logical step is for MasterCard, American Express to Follow the VISA/Integrion lead and let the banks regain some control internally of their Branded Card processing. Which would play right into their vested interest to deal again with CheckFree.

So 2 guesses in addition to American Express would be MasterCard and every merchant involved in SETCO.
