No, I got this puppy (can't call it a dude any more) when Adaptec bought out a company I helped found, I got a minor chunk of Adaptec stock in exchange for my start-up stock (and you can bet we gave ourselves stock cheap back then) and some low-priced options I was smart enough to convert when I left the co. a few years before the sale to Adaptec, so my basis is actually under $1. My wife's eyes were gleaming at 50, but they're dulled now. And yes, I was selling on the way up to 50, but not enough! I still have way to much of this puppy (and we know what puppies grow up to be! Pick your sex--works either way.)
