David,

Thanks for your post on the Supercom. I am looking forward to hearing more on that. Things, it seems, are coming together finally. Here is a recent post from Yahoo:

Purchase Order Just In
RBOCS98

DeltaNet just made a purchase order for GigaMux. Dollar amount and configuration I'm not sure about though. It sound that they will by in phases so to me that means this isn't a big whopper P.O. but the sum
of the purchases might be?

I have done my reserch on the competition. I wanted to confirm what my contact has been telling me regarding Ciena. They had a static DWDM Firely at the show. I talked to one of Ciena's salepersons who told me they have a DWDM product but not commercially available though. The "Firefly" as they would call it can not transmit OC-3. However, in Jan of 99 they should be able to. They won't have TMN Q3 until earl next year. They do however have their sales force selling this vaporware to every RBOC and Telco they come across. The fortunate thing for Osicom is that Cienna has an incomplete product. I do believe that Ciena does have enough of a proven track record to record sales even prior to the completion of Firefly.

<< Take a tour of the China Facility, which is essentially a contract manufacturer similar to Jabil Circuit: >>

Hmmm...doesn't JBL make money? Haven't they made money for a while now? Were their sales not up 53% in the last six months? Does JBL not have about 5 times as many sales per employee as Osicom does? Doesn't their stock have a general long-term uptrend? Hasn't their stock outperformed the S&P for the last couple years?

As I have just shown, there is no comparison between JBL and FIBR.
