It seems to me a lot of people are buying the preferreds instead of the common stock. I bought the common stock and am wondering if I made a mistake. Can someone explain the benefit of the P's over the common stock. Thanks in advance.

Gary, I agree! I would like to see Arcon blend their own fuel. The
way I see it..the market is getting ripe for this type of fuel blend.
Companies have to be scrambling for alternatives to MTBE.. not only
is it a EPA problem but there is a real shortage of it right now
which drove the costs up last week. Seems the oversea's
manufacturers are having their fair share of problems with their
plants. I found another interesting tidbit tonight:

LAS VEGAS, June 11 (UPI) - The Clark County Health District will
consider mandating an ethanol blended gasoline which officials say will cut the carbon monoxide in the Las Vegas Valley's air during the winter months. The gas, commonly called California grade gasoline, would cost about 6 cents per gallon more than other grades of gas.

I don't understand the "California grade gas" reference. But I'm
working at it!! LOL

I haven't had the chance to thank you for adding me to your e-mail.
Count me in on the get together.. count me out on ballgame!! LOL
90 degrees with 90 degrees humidity!! You want to kill the investors?
LOL LOL There are many places like the Residence Inn in and
around Houston. It depends what area you are going to be in. I
don't even know where John's office is. That would
be a good start. I live South of Houston on Clear Lake. There is
a great park here on the Lake and ball fields across the street.
A lot of fun places to eat sea food on the water. But if you are
going to be in North Houston... it would be a hour drive. Anyway
let me know where you have to go and then I will be glad to help
you find a place to stay.
