Hi Eric, I'm relatively new to P&F but I have been sufficiently impressed with it to take action. Late April I cleared the decks. Sold everything. Got some taxes to pay but I'm not complaining. Bought a short fund which hasn't done much but should show a profit near term. What I really like about getting out of the way is watching my purchasing power grow as things get worse. Think about it. You have X sitting in cash. Market drops 10%. You now have increased purchasing power by 10% plus the interest you've made while you're waiting for the market to come to you. I'm trying to guard against getting back in too early and now just waiting for opprotunities. The problem I see is this is really starting to get ugly. We just don't know how bad this will be. Just glad I found P&F, Tom , and this site with Jan and others who are always willing to help. Best to all.
