It wasn't what you said or how you said it. It's my lack of knowledge.

I'm the Computer facilitator at the school where I work so I probably know 5 to 10 times more than any of the other teachers. However, whenever a machine crashes or has other problems, I'm confronted with the fact that I only know 10% of what I need to know.

For instance, I don't know (at a fundamental level) the difference between SSCI and IDE.
