trey, this is the same downturn as 1996, not a separate one. the oversupply has been consistent from then to now. the only speedbump was that the koreans built and held inventory for a little while instead of built and sold product. the fact that investors thought that was an actual turn goes to show you they are 5 or 6 cylinders short of a 6 banger ;-)

they are talking about doing the same thing now and i think it is all talk. their memories aren't short, just cheap ;-)

it didn't work then and it won't work now. blood must poor and some companies must give up the ghost. i would not buy mu at any price until this onslaught is over.
