It's a lot easier for some (most?) people to believe there is a conspiracy behind stuff we don't like than to just see the downside as the necessary mirror of the upside. Take death, for example. M.

Your "ever so humble opinion" sounds like a NASD commercial. <grin> That's the way the markets are supposed to work but don't. We are seeing a concerted effort to take this price down - it has nothing to do with more selling than buying. I accept the normal workings of the market and have for over 30 years of doing this. We, however, have entered a new age of manipulation and marketing spin. It has always been with us to some degree but the internet has given it the opportunity to flourish and those that run the markets are getting rich off the backs of the uninitiated. Nevertheless, I don't want to sound "preachy" so will not continue with this subject since I could (and might) write a book about it. Believe, if you will, that we are playing in an honest market. I don't. Some learn their games and play by their rules and do okay. Unfortunately, too many new investors don't know the rules and lose too much money to the sharks. 'Nuff said! Alan
