Although I'm eager to see PLFM do well, consider this:

>>>>>>>>>>>
One of the initial ARC System target installations has a population in excess of 10 million. It is anticipated this market sector may yield a cellular subscriber base of 250,000 to 1 million consumers at $80 per month, or an annual gross revenue potential of US$240 to $960 million.
>>>>>>>>>>>

2.5 to 10% of a city is going to be willing to pay $960 a year for cell phone service? That would require a fair amount of wealth in said city. They'd be much better served by offering a lower rate and capturing a bigger market share. Could someone with knowledge of cell phone costs, post monthly cell phone rates in various countries?
Thanks

>What happened to "We got what we wanted."????

PhilT, I remember that you commented on my message 564 on the Yahoo board. This is from that message:

"......and may go to Brazil this week to present the plan to Ministry of Aeronautics to finally get the permission to fly unmanned aircraft in Brazil. I think the rumored "got what they wanted from Brazil" is not about contract. It is probably about what Howard referred to as a preliminary agreement for allowing plfm to fly unmanned aircraft there."

Hope this answers your question.

I didn't look at the 05/05 press release, but I do remember something about "an investment banker arrangement"....I thought that this was supposed to be talked about in THIS press release???

Who cares if the last press release was done by a different PR company? This release still sucked.
