We can now see the niche market Mr. Macgruder is after - small-to-medium ISPs, and small-to-medium countries.
There's no way the little ISPs are going to shell out big bucks, and they want equipment that runs itself and won't hassle them to death.
No competition for FTEL or FNET from the big boys here.
Likewise, Lucent et al will go for Germany or Brazil, but are not likely to move into the Dominican Republic for some time.

Throwing the switch on July 1!! ALL RIGHT!!
I did some spreadsheets assuming 10 or 15 cents/minute gross profit per call for foreign DVGs, and got some very impressive numbers. Bet the Dominican Republic will at least double those.
