OT. Christopher: Thanks! I'm heading away from this thread, Adaptec, and the stock market next Thursday (but I'll be back!) I'll be fighting the mosquitos instead, as I stand waist deep in the cold waters of the Manistee and Boardman rivers, waiting for the hatches and rises, and hoping to catch a few of those scsi little wiley trout. My canoe's already there, mountain bikes go with us, and the fresh clean familiar scents of pine needles and old cabins, the sounds of crows on calm mornings by the lake, an old piano in the evening, squirrels on the roof, water slipping quietly past the paddles, the brilliant colors from sun on the lake and through the birches, await to remind me of the real pleasures of life. Unless it rains, of course. Which it won't (just like Adaptec couldn't fall this low?) I suppose before I return (perhaps before I depart) we'll get news about Symbios. I think the FTC has an obligation to not let things drag on indefinitely. Then maybe we'll have a better sense of Savier's "new Adaptec". Starowl
