Whow! Nigeria played great! The last goal was amazing!
It was a 3-2 game as I predicted..I just did not get right
the winner..
Nigeria plays soccer in the best Brazilian tradition: great
individual talent, precision passing the ball, easy flowing
all offensive tactics..and poor organization and defense..

Victor

George: MJ and company will win in Utah but I fear this
is their last ring.

Shane and all:

We are on the verge of something epic here....could it be that Nigeria is good enough for the final four? I may be getting carried away here but Nigeria's performance was IMPRESSIVE. This was the best game of the tournament so far. Spain is already in the hole in the group of death (Spain is a notorious slow starter but I thought that meant getting at least one point). Nigeria is sitting pretty, heck if they play like this they can easily beat Paraguay and Bulgaria. Their only suspect position is goalie. I think so far it's the best team performance in this Cup. And the third goal is right near the top (if not on top) of the list of the best goals of WC98. I believe Spain has a good enough team to get to the 2nd round but they will have to do it the hard way now by beating both Paraguay and Bulgaria, something that can be done. But oh boy the pressure is on them now. Raul did not impress me at all. And who would have thought that their goalie Zubizareta, in his 4th WC, would give away the second goal by that horrible mistake? But then again The Nigerian goalie fell asleep on the first goal too. Spain's second goal was awesome too! Keeping true to my 100% prediction inaccuracy the 1-1 did not last even a minute in the second half. So do I at least get a half point for guessing the halftime score???Again Bora's teams always make it to the second round, this guy is a coaching genius. Just imagine what USA could it be if he was still the coach!!!Nigeria just gained many supporters today, including me. These guys can sure play the game.

On to South Corea and Mexico. I am familiar with Mexico. If they don't underestimate the S. Coreans and play hard they should beat them. But S. Corea always give fits because these guys never stop running. I predicted 1-1.

Oh this is heaven for us soccer fanimals!
