Oracle has held strong in the recent weakness of tech stocks. This is a good sign. If they can beat street estimates by the five cents a share the stock will take off. If that is the case they should do some creative accounting and maybe hold back a penny or two for next quarter.

One thing i have noticed and don't know what to make of it. On the wall street journal careers page, oracle has alot of job openings all over the usa. It either means they are expanding rapidly or alot of people have left.

My other question is, i am thinking of applying for the openings of the financial system implementation consultants. I have experience with other financial systems and a network background. Does anyone know what they look for in this position and what it pays?

long and holding til retirement.
