R2O Thanks for posting the URL to the SCSI vs EIDE white paper advansys.com I've got a question about the 1394 FireWire if you, or anyone else, would care to take a shot at it I'd be most grateful. I'm wondering about the physical limitations as far as how long it takes for a hard drive to lay down or pick up bits. Doesn't the speed of the SCSI bus exceed the read/write speed of the HD? If it does, what's the advantage of going with the FireWire? Thanks - Emory
