"Buy the rumor -- sell the news" is an old, if somewhat perverse adage of investing.

But that's not what happened in ALYA on Friday. About 30 minutes after the report, a serious wave of buying came in, and the price rose to $1.38. My best guess is that these were real world folks brought in by World Vision.

When the wave was over, Frankel walked the price down on a small volume of sales by people like Lamar, and some bogus self-generated activity.

If you're interested in learning how the OTC:BB works, ALYA is providing some interesting lessons. Just remember: the investors win.
