Ken,

A good place to start your DD and fact gathering is the header page.

A place to call and get investor info.

sitra.com

Authorized shares I think is either 50 or 100 mm
Issued as of 05/98 7,610,129
float apprx. 3.3mm

Scott Sitra IR for BANY would be worth calling to get a feel and also getting an investor info pak. 512 453 3817

A few posters on this thread hold some large positions in the company. Do not take this as a recomendation, but as an avenue to persue your own DD and decisions. If you have the time to review the postings here, you will see the ups and downs of the longer term shareholders.

Good reading

Dave

Ken,

Some good info on the stock in the last two posts.

Also, Cameron Yost, BANY CEO has now done two conference calls for shareholders over the last two quarters. The last one was very informative. Here is the short version of the business plan:

Banyan is going after OEM business. They feel that many of the large laptop manufacturers who do business directly with the public have customers who would like to be offered an inexpensive hard-shelled case. Banyan is also going after the larger computer chain stores.

So far......Yost has not been able to break into any of these large accounts......but that is clearly subject to change.

Banyan is also trying to add other computer related products to their DoubleCase offerings. Yost feels that he can leverage the existing DoubleCase distribution network. (see the last BANY press release)
As of a few weeks ago, Yost said that he had about 5 irons in the fire that would push this part of the business plan forward.

Banyan is also getting their financial information put together in an effort to become a reporting company and have been picked as a primary vendor in a very large Air Force procurement contract.

Many of the loyal and quite large shareholders here believe that BANY will be a profitable company by the end of the year on the Air Force contract and baseline DoubleCase sales alone......and may also get a few of those "irons" out of the fire and on to the anvil. The irons are what gets you on the dancefloor......in golfing lingo!

Ken,

As long as I'm on a roll....You must check this out:

usairways.com

Delta made the same 2 carry-on rule a few months ago. The business traveler will not check baggage.......The laptop must now go into the briefcase......or the briefcase must become a laptop case.

The garment bag is untouchable......IMO.

With no additional "irons"......the market for DoubleCase is still very bright. Long term consideration is valid here also.

ps. steve....thanks, Bubba....I missed the US Air announcement! Very cool. The other major carriers will fall in line also...if they have not done so already......as the airlines have no magic pill to increase cabin stowage.
