Why am I not surprised that you were the first (that I have read) to suggest this here. I agree with you and will go further. This IPO will never see the light of other then "red herring paper". And all that was for was to set the playing field.

If IBM is a gorilla in heat, he attacks his most powerful rival, SEG.
Screw WDC, they are irrelevant.
IBM has a chance to control the storage market, anti-trust is the only problem.
